Vth Season took to Instagram and released a video of Cassper Nyovest marketing his event in Kampala, Uganda, giving the impression that Nyovest is now having his bookings handled by AKA’s distribution company. “Cassper in Kampala next Month at @blanketsandwineug .. For Africa Wide bookings for all African Talent pls contact…. [email protected]. Tours, Shows and Concerts…!!! #Africabookings,” read the caption on the video clip.

Taking to Twitter, Raphael Benza who is the owner of the boutique record label Vth Season clarified that his brand has not signed Cassper Nyovest in any shape or form. He expressed that Cassper is a talented artist but the two are not working together as he urged the Megacy not to be distracted.

We have not signed Cassper Nyovest in any shape or form. Cassper is a talented artist and has an extremely capable Team. Don’t get distracted.” He tweeted. Benza and AKA had a good business relationship despite facing some mishaps along the way.

Benza told TimesLive that he feels very angry after AKA’s death because he could not help him on the night of his murder since the slain rapper always looked up to him. “He always looked up to me to fix things and correct things and this one I just cannot do so I feel really helpless and very sad and angry for him leaving us this way,” he said.
