SA Hip Hop Rappers Who Have Confronted Nota Baloyi On His 2020 Rants About The State Of SA Hip Hop. 2020 has been a hectic yet most interesting year for SA Hip Hop, most of the interesting part includes Nota Baloyi’s rants about SA Rappers and how SA Hip Hop IS according to his outlook.

Nota has by far confronted almost every top rapper in SA Hip Hop including Stogie T, Nasty C, Cassper, K.O, A-Reece and Costa Titch. The few rappers he has spoken positively of are AKA, Kwesta and Big Zulu. His notion about the state of SA Hip Hop have always been a highlight of how SA rappers must keep to the original sound.

“Very proud of the direction SA Hip-hop is going… As long as the most authentic artists are leading the way we’re in safe hands. We will not have these kids with lost identity being role model to the kids growing up watching them on TV. I’ll fight for the culture to the death,” wrote Nota.

In the long list of sentiments Nota has expressed, here’s how SA Rappers have reacted;

“How arrogant must you be to think you have the right to pull rank for respect you havnt earned or else a person wont make it in an industry. you must think we send our prayers to you,” wrote the producer

Cassper

“When you no longer the dude you think you are. When you have to lie cause your reality is not as exciting. When you have to make up theories that suit your narrative but can’t prove them. When people have forgotten about your reign and you hate on everything, you have fallen off!” wrote Nyovest.

“We did many great things together. @lavidaNOTA played a very CRUCIAL role in my career. I just don’t want to speak on his behalf and on things only he has the answers to. I also want future communication routes to be clear. That’s respect.”
