D’Banj Opens Up About The Death Of His Son For The First Time In Over A Year. This month marks 21 months since the horrifying death of the son of Nigerian star DBanj.
The multi talented star opened up to the media for the first time expressing his feelings and how he was affected. “For the first time in 21 months I slept in my room … I thought it would be easier but the memories are so fresh,” he said.
He went on to give hope to others in these times of the pandemic.
“Although my family and I have been through so much in this time, I woke up this morning with a grateful heart knowing that I can be a source of visible hope to anyone going through a hard time due to this pandemic or any personal issue.
“Just know that tomorrow will be better and you can turn your pain into motivation. Stay strong.”
Last year he carried on his belief on God to help him survive through the hard times.
“The past few weeks have been incredibly trying and difficult, but God’s love has kept me and my family going,” he wrote.
