The White House Removes Petition Asking President Obama To Force Kanye West To Release “SWISH”
Mr West has released 3 singles this year and went silent on his fans. West dropped Four- Five seconds which featured Paul McCartney and Rihanna, Only O and All Day. All these tracks are massive hit tracks but the rapper has stopped releasing since.
Fans decided to form a petition asking Obama to use his executive powers to force Kanye to release his fourth coming SWISH album. “Kanye West has kept us thirsty for too long,” the petition read, according to Billboard. “We haven’t gotten any new singles in months. The President should order Ye to drop the album on the date August 21st, as his producer Mike Dean has been teasing people about.”
The petition gathered tens of thousands of signatures in a short space but it was taken down from the We Are People’s facebook page after The White House said it was in violation of Terms of Participation.
