Whether you like him or not, Cassper Nyovest has accomplished something other rappers can only hope to do. Taking to Twitter, Mufasa talks about how he has competed successfully in the commercial sector for the past ten years.

He went on to say that he could still survive even if he quit making music. This remark is thought to be a result of his ventures into business ventures such as Biliatio alcohol and Drip footwear cooperation. “I’ve been competing commercially for 10 years & we’ve had a lot of commercial success, the level many artists will never see. I don’t need to make a song to survive anymore, it feels so good. Nun of this would’ve been possible without your undying support. Thank you TEAM NYOVEST.” Cassper wrote.

Cassper has sold out The Dome, a 20,000-person capacity performance venue. No other South African musician has done so, and even worldwide stars like Trey Songz and Chris Brown have failed. In addition, he was the first South African rapper to appear on Sway In The Morning. This is a clear indication that Mufasa has done it all in the rap game hence his statement can be arguably justifiable.

Recently, Cassper claimed that he resurrected SA hip hop after it was declared dead following the dominance of the Amapiano genre which he also joined and made a couple of songs.
