“I’m a phenomenon. I am the 1 in like 400 000 kids” Says Cassper Nyovest

After the fees were hiked, students decided to take their grievances to the streets to protest! University students all over the country have been protesting and it doesn’t look like they will settle for anything but what they agree with. Education should not only be for the privileged but for everyone. We have seen several celebrities like AKA, Yanga, Simphiwe Dana, Master A Flat and KiD X join the march to the Wits main campus.

Cassper Nyovest also showed his support via social media for which he found himself under attack by several tweeps. “Wazini nge Education sbali?” a tweep asked Cassper to which he responded and said “I pay school fees for 4 people.” Nyovest is taking care of his family through his art and peeps need to understand that it’s ok to have ambition outside of school.
