Frank Casino is back having dropped a new single called ‘Forever‘ featuring Riky Rick along with the visuals at the beginning of July currently sitting on just over 300k views in under two weeks. The rapper has been doing PR rounds and recently sat down with MacG and Sol Phenduka on their podcast where he touched on taking a break from dropping music, his thoughts on American influence in SA Hip Hop amongst many other things. As expected with MacG and Sol, it got real quickly when Casino was put in the hot seat to choose his favorites between some of the most well known SA Hip Hop rivals.

Lucky for SA Hip Hop fans, he was up for the challenge, also explaining why he chose the rappers he did. First up was Teargas v Skwata Camp to which he chose Teargas despite his love for Slikour. Asked to pick between Riky and Stogie T, Frank didn’t hesitate to say Stogie must go. This shouldn’t come as a surprise that he picked Riky considering they just put out a collaboration together. “Stogie is dope, he’s an OG but Riky is mu guy,” he explained.

On Cassper and AKA, he chose Cassper saying, “AKA [must go]… AKA is like…I listened to his music before, I’ve listened to Cassper’s music… he’s actually the guy who paved the way for guys like me. He also mentioned that he liked what Cassper is doing on the business side of things. Frank revealed that “All I Know” is his favorite AKA song and Bentley Coupe is his favorite Cassper song.

On A-Reece and Nasty C, Frank Casino chose Nasty C “for the sake of the flag (South Ah). He couldn’t choose between Shane Eagle and Younsta CPT saying they are both important to the game and he’d do a track with both of them and that he’d kill both of them on a song. ‘Ive never been killed,” a confident Casino said. He chose Nadia over Moozlie simply based on friendship.

We appreciate Casino’s frankness but we can’t help but wonder what it will do to his relationships in the game.
