“There’s No Album Better Than Anxiety On This Side Of The Equator” Zoocci Coke Dope Addresses Fellow Nominees

The SA Hip Hop awards nominees list has been revealed and super producer and rapper Zoocci Coke Dope received a nod in the Album of the year category alongside Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana and  Blacklez& PDotO, however he wanted to set the record straight that award or not, there is no better project than his.

Taking to twitter, Zoocci gave shout out to all the other candidates who have been selected for the same category however thrush be told, there just isn’t an album in the whole of Mzansi that would beat his album latest album Anxiety, however the local hip hop scene is all about playing games and controversy when it comes to recognition and value, so he’s not counting on actually winning.

“S/O TO EVERYONE ON THE CATEGORY. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THERES NO ALBUM BETTER THAN ANXIETY ON THIS SIDE OF THE EQUATOR..BEFORE ME AND MY PEOPLE GET PLAYED, IT WONT BE ABOUT PRESSING THE PLAY BUTTON.” he wrote.

The rapper continued to state that he knows very well that haters will drag him for spitting facts but Ok’salayo it is what it is.

“I KNOW YALL KNOW THAT BUT YOU’LL BE MAD AT ME FOR KNOWING IT TOO. DOESNT MATTER THOUGH, I CAN DO THIS UNTIL I DECIDE NOT TO” he said.

Having faced scrutiny for his music previously, Zoocci’s music has received a mixed bag of reactions after fans failed to view the album as a positive form of art however, Zoocci is all about making music for his fans who remains stans, day in and out.
