The rapper has been active on the SA Hip Hop scene for a rather long time. He last released new music in 2018 with his project with The Cousins. He was also featured on AKA’s Touch My Blood album. The thing that had JR in the spotlight the most besides the music is his JR Live Sessions.
Although JR released a lot of music in 2018, he has been rather quiet in 2019 with no new music at all. He went on Twitter talking about how he has been asked several times if he is still doing music and then went on to talk about how he has been spending most of his time this year.
“People are asking me if I’m still making music. Honestly I wanted to have time to be around my son, and I have an agency and an entertainment solutions business that I wanted to dedicate a year to growing,” tweeted JR letting his fans know just what he has been up to.
