SA Hip Hop has come up from nothing to being the most relevant and most lucrative genre in the House Capital of the world. In 2016 we have more than 10 rap artists making chart topping singles at the same time where as when it was Skwatta Kamp popping it was only them.

Cassper Nyovest has only mentioned that he got a seven figure deal with MTN but never came out to tell us the exact figure so all we have been able to do is speculate. Nyovest definitely made a lot of money last year but nobody knows how much.
