Cassper Reveals How He Knew He Had Cemented Himself In The Game

Cassper Reveals How He Knew He Had Cemented Himself In The Game. Cassper Nyovest has earned himself the reputation of being one of South Ahh’s greatest Hip Hop acts. Some might even say that he is the best in SA music as a whole but that’s a debatable subject. Cassper has a catalogue that features songs that have gone on to dominate the charts across the country. Cassper has released tracks that have become anthems that most know the lyrics to.

Cassper recently took to Twitter to share with his followers, how he knew that had cemented himself in the game. It’s over 10 years of fans chanting Cassper Nyovest, the award-winning artist has had several career-defining moments, from filling up the Dome and even shutting down the Global Citizen concert. Mufasa revealed that he no longer closing off his shows with his smash hit Doc Shebeleza. This has shown him that he is here to stay. “I knew I was cemented in the game when I stopped closing my shows with Doc Shebeleza! That’s when I knew I was here to stay,” tweeted Cassper.

In 2014, Cassper dropped Doc Shebeleza, the track is taken from the rappers debut album, Tsholofelo. The banger is produced by Anatii. When it was released, Doc Shebeleza made its debut on South Africa’s official music chart at number 4. The smash-hit is a tribute to South African Kwaito veteran, Doc Shebeleza. While the song was highly successful, it was snubbed by the SA Music Awards for a nomination. Cassper was not pleased with the snub, as has aired out his frustrations over the snub on Twitter, claiming the SAMAs changed their rules to disqualify the song. “Doc Shebeleza wasn’t nominated for a Sama because it was only the 13th most played song in the country. That’s when I sent a zap sign to the Samas because they changed the rules that year just to disqualify the biggest song that year,” tweeted Cassper at the time.

In response to a fan, Cassper revealed that now he is closing his shows off with his biggest hit, Siyathandana. Mufasa’s amapiano track with Boohle and Abidoza has earned him his first number 1 on the radio. While Siyathandana may be Cassper’s biggest song, Cassper has previously credited Doc Shebeleza as the biggest trap song to come out of Africa. “If i feel like it. What do you mean NOW doe cause Doc Shebeleza is the BIGGEST trap song to ever come out of Africa,” Cassper tweeted.
