“I was genuinely shook by Shovels, Mothipa & Reason” Says Proverb
Proverb has been in the game since the 2000’s and even then we knew the homie was going to be a legend because nobody could really challenge his rhymes. Proverb is by far one of the smartest rappers to ever be produced by Africa and this is based on his content and how he cleverly aligns words together.
The rap game has changed since the 2000’s but Proverb is still going hard even though he really doesn’t need to rap anymore. A super dope Shovels record featuring Proverb, Reason and Motipa was released last week.
“I’ve never known how Shovels’ mind works, met Mothipa for the 1st time that evening and Reason was extra relaxed – made a vet nervous” said Proverb. “I had to take my verse some 3 or 4 times before I got it in cause I was genuinely shook by Shovels Mothipa & Reason” he explained.
