Kwesta Talks About Being His Own Boss And How It Has Helped Him

Kwesta has been in the music industry since the mid-2000’s when Skwatta Kamp was popping and he was rolling with them at the time. Kwesta was a sponge who was just hungry to learn from the legends which is what he did.

The rapper later on left Badda Bing because he wanted to go do his own thing which is when he gave us the first DaKAR album. since then Kwesta’sfollowing has grown immensely and he is undoudtedly one of the biggest rappers in SA.

Kwesta was asked what being his own boss has done for him and he said, “being my own boss goes back to music, it’s just the freedom of being able to put out as much and whatever. Just the ability to make decisions is so freeing. That freedom alone frees the artist to become a better artist because they can have the last word on something” said Kwesta. “It also feels great because you owe it all to you whether good or bad and this also grows you as a person” he explained.
