Mabala Noise Lose R200k Because Of Nasty C & DJ Buckz. The label is undoubtedly one of the most influential independent record label in the game and the artists signed to the label are testament to this fact.

Nasty C was paid R45 000 for a show on the 29th of October but he didn’t show up and DJ Buckz had been paid R50 000 for a show he was supposed to perform at on the 30th of October but he was also a no-show. Mabala Noise had paid a further R100,000 in compensation after being threatened with lawyers.

“We have paid back all the event organisers in full. We paid Zimbi Events Company last week and we do not owe anyone any money. It is the policy of Mabala Noise to pay back any amount outstanding if our artists do not perform at shows they are booked for,” said the Mabala Noise representative.
