Lil Wayne Slapped With AMEX Lawsuit
Lil Wayne has been slapped with AMEX Lawsuit. For the second time in just two days, Lil Wayne finds himself at the center of yet another lawsuit, this time with American Express. AMEX filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne yesterday (July 14) for failing to cough up a sum totaling $86,396.75, according to TMZ.
Citing legal documents, the publication reports that Wayne has been in the red with the company since December. American Express is said to be gunning for the full amount, plus all legal fees incurred.
Lil Wayne has been having a tough time as of late. It was reported yesterday (July 14) that Weezy was facing a legal backlash after he laid hands on a bouncer at a nightclub in Hollywood, California. In addition, Wayne faced another health scare last week, with reports stating that he suffered his third seizure of the year.
