Most Anticipated SA Hip Hop Albums Of 2016

What are the most anticipated SA Hip Hop albums of 2016? We just got into the second half of the year and surprisingly a lot of the albums we have been anticipating since the beginning of the year have not been released. We are really excited to see these albums drop:

1. AKA’s third studio album

We all know the Supa Mega does not just release music because he always wants to give his fans the best work he possibly can. AKA’s 2014 release is certified Gold and contains 3 Gold selling singles. The rapper was asked when he is planning on dropping sometime last year and he said that he has plans of releasing in March 2016. March is gone so we are just impatiently waiting for the album.

2. K.O’s sophomore album

Mr Cashtime released his debut album titled Skhanda Republic in 2014 and the album is certified platinum today. We saw K.O releasing several quality hit singles from the album through out 2015. Mr Cashtime is now ready to release his sophomore album this year and is probably going to do saw in the last quarter of the year.

3. Nasty C’s debut album –  Bad Hair

Nasty C is an 18-year-old rapper from Durban who blew up after releasing his Price City mixtape which put him on. The rapper is a lyricist which puts him under pressure to release a full-length album this year. We can’t wait to see what hommie has instore for us.

4. Reason’s fourth studio album

Gahd Body is one of the hardest working musicians in the game and his catalogue speaks for itself. The rapper has been putting in time and he says his new music is going to be different from his previous content.

5. Okmalumkoolkat

The smart Mampara has been doing this thing for a while and the fans just can’t wait for his debut album anymore. The rapper has been inthe kitchen cooking uo that work for us and he promises to get it to us on the 27th of this month.
