Cassper’s claims elicited varied reactions, with some praising Big Zulu for reviving a conversation that SA hip hop desperately needed. With all the diss tracks that have been released, AKA made it clear that he is against it and he will not participate in any of it.

In a now-deleted video that he shared on Instagram stories sampling an unreleased track, AKA can be heard in the song singing the lyrics of Cassper Nyovest’s new single “Put Your Hands Up”. “Over there, over there put your hands up, alright noways that’s Christmas,” AKA can be heard rapping in the song.

AKA has been very vocal about the current state of SA hip hop. The Super Mega recently took to Twitter and made it known that the diss tracks are the reason why the game is where it is right now. “This stupid diss track energy is what put us in this position in the first place.” Tweeted AKA.

Despite criticizing the diss tracks that have been released recently, AKA has precisely stated that he is also in the studio making new music. The rapper made it known that he is not engaging in any diss tracks since he currently working to release good music for his followers.

No thank you. I’m just focused on making the best music I can for the Megacy. I’ve spent a lot of time on beef and all types of nonsense over the past few years. I will most definitely be sitting this one out.” Tweeted AKA.
