2. He attended the Jones College Prep High School and formed the hip hop duo instrumentality with a friend.

3. He grew up as the oldest brother in a middle class family and his younger brother Taylor Bennett is a Chicago rapper.

4. His father, Ken Williams-Bennett served as an aide to former Chicago mayor Harold Washington and worked for then-Senator Barack Obama.

5. He mentioned in an interview with XXL, that his musical influences are Kirk Franklin, Souls of Mischief, MC Hammer and James Brown to name a few.
