Death Grips was formed in Sacramento, California on 21 December 2010. The group consists of rapper/vocalist Stefan Burnett, known by his stage name MC Ride, drummer and producer Zach Hill, and co-producer Andy Morin. On 27 February 2012, Death Grips signed with Epic Records. There is no doubt that the American experimental hip hop has definitely managed to stay relevant in the music industry.

1. Death Grips was formed in Sacramento, California on 21 December 2010.

6. On January 16, 2014, it was announced that Warp Music Publishing signed an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with the group.

7. Death Grips announced that they will be touring in support of Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden throughout their 2014 Summer tour.

8. In 2015, The Skinny called them “the first truly important band of the twenty-first century”.

9. On January 4, 2016, it was announced that Death Grips would be performing at the 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

10. They have collaborated with artists like Les Claypool, Tera Melos and Team Sleep to name a few.
