1. Kidd Kidd was born as Curtis Stewart on 26 November 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

3. He was discovered by American hip hop recording artist Lil Wayne, while rapping on a street corner in New Orleans.

4. He joined the label as a member of Southern hip hop group Squad Up, alongside fellow New Orleans-based rappers, Gudda Gudda and T-Streets.
