The British DJ and radio presenter for BBC Radio 1, MistaJam was born Pete Dalton on 19 January 1983 in Nottingham, England. He has appeared in TV programmes such as Peak Practice and EastEnders. In November 2009 he narrated the final, compilation episode of the BBC Switch series Chartjackers. In June 2010, Adidas approached him to host a video diary of Glastonbury Festival, including his DJ set in the East Dance Tent. He has his own show on BBC Two called No Hats, No Trainers, which aired in May. There is no doubt that the 33-years-old British DJ and radio presenter has definitely paved a successful path for himself in the music industry.

1. MistaJam was born Pete Dalton on 19 January 1983 in Nottingham, England.

2. He grew up listening to the records of his parents and began DJing at local events at the age of 14.

3. He also djed for Nottingham hip hop crew Out Da Ville and for a local pirate radio station.

4. He also acts and received his acting lessons at Nottingham’s Central Junior Television Workshop alongside Toby Kebbell and Samantha Morton.

5. He has appeared in TV programmes such as Peak Practice and EastEnders.

6. He has appeared as a regular character, “Minty” in the 2001 revamp of ITV soap opera Crossroads and most recently in the BBC Three sitcom Trexx and Flipside.

7. In November 2009 he narrated the final, compilation episode of the BBC Switch series Chartjackers.

8. In June 2010, Adidas approached him to host a video diary of Glastonbury Festival, including his DJ set in the East Dance Tent.
