The American recording artist from Chicago, Illinois, Young Thug was born Jeffery Lamar Williams on 16 August 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the second youngest of eleven children. In July 2013, the American magazine, Complex included him in their list of 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For. The American online magazine, Pitchfork, ranked 1017 Thug as one of the best albums of the first half of the 2010’s decade. 1. Young Thug was born Jeffery Lamar Williams on 16 August 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia.

3. He signed a record deal with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records in early 2013 and later that year he released his label debut mixtape 1017 Thug.

4. In July 2013, the American magazine, Complex included him in their list of 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For.

6.  In April 2014, he released a new 808 Mafia-produced song titled “Eww”, which was named one of the five best songs of the week by XXL.
