SA Rappers Team Up With Mbongeni Ngema To Release A Remix Of ‘Freedom Is Coming Tomorrow’ From Sarafina. Ever wondered how would a morden day version of Freedom Is Coming Tomorrow sound like? Thanks to Mbongeni Ngema who hasn’t let his skills age with him, we’ll soon find out.

The legendary singer, songwriter, producer and playwright Mbongeni created a hit with a film Sarafina. Starred by Leleti Khumalo who is also his ex-wife, the 65 year-old made the film to commemorate young South Africans who died in the 1976 massacre of learners under Apartheid ruling.

To accompany the mood of the film which is still as big even after 27 years of its release were songs such as Freedom Is Coming Tomorrow. The song is performed to plant hope and to give young people reasons to look forward to the future despite of what the past was and present is.

To sprinkle a little bit of morden day style and vibe, Ngema scooped the likes of Emtee, Gigi Laymayne, Reason, Saudi, Tarmasha, MJ Mashaba and Blaklez. The single hasn’t officially dropped even but is promised for this month.
