DJ Speedsta On Why He Is Done Voicing Views About SA Hip Hop

DJ Speedsta On Why He Is Done Voicing Views About SA Hip Hop. Speedsta has always counted as one of the most opinionated artists who cared more about expressing himself than offending anyone. He recently declared that he is done with all that.

Speedsta was one of the members of the PopCast, a Hip hop podcast consisting of Scoop, DJ Vigilante And Ms Cosmo. After a while serving facts and opinions on the show, he decided to leave. When asked he said it’s because the energies in the atmosphere weren’t aligning with his anymore, implying disagreement with fellow presenters. However, he did provide clarity.

“It became very difficult for me. I’ve always been a very friendly, chilled, outgoing person. I’m the kind of person that when I walk into a room I know everybody and smile at everybody. The podcast just created a vibe that I no longer like. It didn’t make me feel good. For me, if something doesn’t serve me, it doesn’t have purpose for me, I gotta go,” said Speedsta.

As the year ends, Speedsta states that he is leaving the bad vibes behind and hopes to settle whatever beef he has face to face without violence.

“Going into 2021 with peace. If we have unsolved things, I guess we’ll sort it out when we see each other face to face. No violence. Going into the new year….I just wanna build skateparks. Done having my 2 cents about SA Hip Hop. It’s not worth it,” wrote Speedsta.

The Mayo DJ has publicly beefed with DJ Double D and Nasty C in 2020.
