Emtee Details The Inspiration Behind His Hit ‘Pearl thusi’. Emtee has been in the game for just over a year and he released his follow-up to his breakthrough single earlier on this year and it was a record about ‘Pearl Thusi.’

The rapper had released his debut album called ‘Avery’ which is his son’s name. The Hustla had released one single before the album which went on to become the biggest song on the country and won him a lot of accolades.

“It was something that hasn’t been done before in South Africa where someone as young as myself honors a living legend who is a single mom who does raidio, TV and all those things. I wouldn’t be able to survive” he explained.
