The Bronx rapper has a handful of major commercial hits, but only one of them (“Ain’t Worried About Nothin’”) features French and French alone. On his biggest songs, he’s usually surrounded by A-list artists like Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Rick Ross. MC4 has always been the entrée French’s fans have been craving as amass recognition was garnered through this album.

Overall, MC4 is worth listening to, and it has commercial appeal with appearances such as Nas, Kanye, Drake and Ross. Though it seems as if French can’t stand on his own since he always have heavy weight on his features such as Ross and Drizzy.

The sleek and icy “No Shopping”, which notably features Drake taking shots at Joe Budden, is a highlight mainly because of Drizzy’s presence. er performance that shows him as one of rap’s most exciting prospects. The list goes on: Nas steals the show on the choral “Figure It Out” (which also features Kanye West), while a trio of steely veterans (Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, and Styles P) give “Have Mercy” a menacing energy.

Concisely MC4- It’s a diverse guest list album, commercialized singles since he is always surrounded by A-List artists.
