Big Zulu resorted to Instagram to thank his fans for their support following the success of Vuma Dlozi, Mali Eningi, Inhlupheko, IVolovolo and Umuzi e Sandton on Spotify and iTunes. “Today since 2020 I’m sitting on number 1,” he wrote.

In the same post, the Nkabi Records founder boasted that no other South African rapper has surpassed his Spotify and iTunes sales in the past 3 years. “Even now you see in these 3 years there are no hip hop artists hit the numbers I hit.” He said.

Big Zulu couldn’t celebrate his victories without poking fun at other rappers who haven’t been able to compete with his figures. “Sorry to the artists when it feels bad,” wrote Big Zulu. The Zulu rapper also took time to appreciate the love from his fans who have been with him throughout his success.

“Thank you Nkabi Nation for the love and support I am where I am because of you my music speaks to people when they are happy I am also happy Nkabi Nation one love,” he wrote.
