Rick Ross Owes $5.7 million in unpaid taxes

Rick Ross owes the IRS big time, The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States federal government. The IRS is responsible for collecting taxes and administering the Internal Revenue Code, the federal statutory tax law of the U.S.

Its duty to maximize tax revenue entails providing tax assistance to taxpayers, as well as pursuing and resolving instances of erroneous or fraudulent tax filings. Apparently TMZ reports Rick Ross owes the IRS $5.7 million in unpaid taxes between 2012 and 2014. The bulk of his debt ($4.6 million) comes from ’12. Then he owes 570K for both ’13 and ’14.

The government has issued a lien, so if the Bawse doesn’t pay the Feds could start taking his stuff. This adds to Ross’s problems with the authorities. Earlier this year he was indicted for kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm in case involving his groundskeeper.
