RZA’s Amazement With Azealia Bank’s Behaviour

RZA’s Amazement with Azealia Bank’s behaviour trigs, On Oct. 15, the Wu-Tang Clan’s founding member had been invited to join Russell Crowe at a hotel party when RZA’s guest, Harlem rapper Azealia Banks, became the center of a weird quarrels.

Azealia initially tweeted that Crowe had spat at her, strangled her and used racial slurs. RZA responded a few days later with a Facebook post saying Banks was the aggressor, lunging at a female guest with a glass before Crowe tossed her. RZA also says the “Gladiator” star didn’t use racial slurs.

“It was a lot for him to deal with. If I had known that she had mental issues [Banks suffers from bipolar disorder, which she’s talked about, and was drinking at the party], I would have tried to keep a father type of eye on her at the party. I didn’t know.”  RZA responded.

Despite being warned by music-industry insiders that Banks, 25, was prone to erratic behaviour, RZA undoubtedly took her under his wing by lining up record-deal talks and casting Banks in his upcoming movie, “Coco” all before the incident. Like many early fans who tipped her for success and praised her 2014 debut album, “Broke with Expensive Taste,” RZA still believes in her talent.
