Young Thug Started His Own Record Label. Yesterday Thugger posted on his Instagram page sharing his new venture ‘’Owning a label bro, I’m happy…’’. The Atlanta rapper, Young Thug, caught the attention of fellow Atlanta-based rapper Gucci Mane, who went on to sign Young Thug to his label 1017 Brick Squad Records, an Asylum/Atlantic imprint, in 2013. Thug subsequently released his first project on the label, his fourth mixtape, 1017 Thug.
In October 2013, Young Thug released his commercial debut single “Stoner” with numerous appearances from Wale, Jim Jones, Jadakiss, Iamsu! and Trick-Trick, among others. Thugger is widely known for his unconventional vocal style, fashion, and persona. The ‘’ Lifestyle’’ rapper is expanding his legacy establishing his own record label. This is undoubtedly a gigantic move for thugger. his move will definitely bring up new faces in the hip hop world.
