Yo Gotti Announces Deal With Roc Nation. The Memphis rapper posted a photo to Instagram of himself and Jay Z. Gotti has on the infamous paper plane hat that usually signifies a Roc Nation deal and he captions the picture “CMG x ROC NATION #ItsOfficial #WhiteOut.”
It’s unclear at the time of publication if Yo Gotti’s deal is on the label side or the management side and Roc Nation has yet to post about the partnership on its social media accounts. CMG is the label Gotti founded.
This year, Roc Nation signed DJ Khaled to a management deal and signed Rapsody. Meanwhile, Yo Gotti has been building his own Collective Music Group by adding Moneybagg Yo to the roster.
The news comes as Yo Gotti released “Castro” featuring Kanye West, Big Sean and Quavo. The CMG leader appeared on Yeezy’s mega-single “Champions” earlier this year.
