K.O Reveals Release Date For His Upcoming Album
The Skhanda Gawd is set to drop his new album this year. K.O who recently announced the release date of his new single “Pretty Young Thing” which will be dropping in three days has now announced the release date of his new album. The Cashtime Life rapper /Co-founder revealed the news on Twitter after a curious fan asked.
Ntokozo Mdluli, popularly known by his stage name, K.O rose to prominence with the group Teargas after releasing their critically acclaimed debut album K’shubile K’bovu in 2006, under Electromode Music.
Teargas, which then had three members, K.O, Ntukza and Ma-E, later released three other albums titled, Wafa Wafa (2008), Dark or Blue (2009) and Number Number (2012) (stylized as Num8er Num8er) which were all commercially successful.
K.O released his debut project ‘Skhanda Republic’ late 2014, and penetrated 2015 with top charting singles Son of A Gun, One Time, Skhanda Love, Ding Dong and the biggest single of his career ‘Caracara’.
Though K.O didn’t reveal the specific day or month, there’s no denying that we can all expect his album to drop soon mid year. Perhaps in June or July. We can’t wait to hear what his album will offer.
