Zakwe Set To Release A New Album This Year
Zakwe, who is not just a rapper but also a leader in the making and an actor born and bred KwaMashu in the late 80’s. This Kasi rapper has made mark with his strong voice, great lyrics, Kasi stories and black consciousness. It is now official, that Zakwe is the second up and coming emcee from KZN after Zuluboy.
Zakwe is back again to take the Hip Hop Industry by storm as he is about to deliver a new album this year. The lyricist is getting ready to give us the next piece of the puzzle with his third studio album. While announcing the news, Zakwe also mentioned that only dope rappers will be featured on the upcoming album.

Zakwe has won best Lyricist award at the 1st SA Hip Hop awards 2012 and Best Hip Hop artist for the metro fm awards 2013.
