A lot of people look at Emtee as an overnight success without actually what he went through to actually get to this point.Emtee has been in the studio since the day he finished his Metric and that was when he told his parents that he was not trying to continue going to school but wanted to pursue music as his career.
The rapper blew up last year from his first single off his debut album titled Roll Up which has taken him from an unknown to a continental star. The rapper walked away as the biggest winner at the 15th edition of the Metro FM Awards.
After the rapper won four Metro Awards he has been a trending topic in SA media. “JEALOUSY. I see it every day. Even behind a fake smile” said Emtee on Twitter. We all want to be successful but this should be a lesson about it.
