Nasty C: “I Was Determined To Prove My Father Wrong “
Nasty C is no doubt one of the hottest SA rappers at the moment and it’s no surprise to hear the young rapper state clearly that “There is no artist in the country that can touch or intimidate me right now” and that he was determined to prove his dad wrong, which is confidence on another level. A lot of parents are not too comfortable with their children pursuing music and Nasty is one youngster who stuck to his passion regardless of his fathers disinterest in him pursuing music.
Nasty C was doing an interview with TshisaLive where he spoke about challenges young people are faced with when trying to follow dream that are not necessarily mainstream by saying “When you are young, you think that the older generation doesn’t get it. You think that they are trying to make you forget your dreams, and so I was determined to prove my father wrong and I found my voice through music and developing this fighting spirit,”
