Vic Mensa Arrested For Gun Possession in L.A. Vic Mensa was driving when he was arrested for carrying a pistol without the proper permit but at least the rapper opened up about his weapon to the cops before they had searched the vehicle.

The rapper was driving around Beverly Hills sometime last week when he ran through a red traffic light and the police stopped him for it. He was arrested when he confessed to police officers that he was carrying a gun in his car.

The Chicago native presented a concealed carry permit that, according to TMZ, is only valid in another state. He was booked and spent the night behind bars. The “16 Shots” rapper was charged with a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon. After one night in jail, he was released on $35,000 bail.
