Kid X Explains Kwesta Dropping 'Vur Vai' After His Album

Kid X Explains Kwesta Dropping ‘Vur Vai’ After His Album! Right after Kid X dropped his debut album “Thank Da King”, Kwesta followed up with his chart topping single Vur Vai.

This was seen as though Kwesta was trying to overshadow Kid X’s effort with the move by some Hip Hop fans. When Kwesta spoke on the matter in an interview with The Plug magazine, he said that it was because of a business move since he had a deal with Telkom which had to be accompanied by the single.

“For me, your people are your people, the people who vouch for your music, the people who look out for your music will always look out for your music. In terms of who drops when, I feel like obviously, a lot of the decisions are made behind closed doors because we both signed to the same major, we’re both at Sony, so everyone was aware of the timeline,” said Kid X when he was asked about it on Absolute Hip Hop.
