J Smash got a chance to get off his chest in his quest to fulfil his ambition. The only way he was going to do so is through music. Taking to Twitter, the Limpopo-born rapper announced the forthcoming of his debut album which he dubbed as his “love and labour.”

The Rise Of King chanter revealed that after many hours of inner fights for almost two years, he has finally found relief via music. J Smash also shared a video clip getting praise from the big-name rappers in the game such as Stogie T, Cassper Nyovest, A-Reece and Kwesta. That might have been the driving factor to be where he is now.

“I present to you my labor of love, my debut album: “TOXIC PERFECTIONISM” After countless hours, self-discovery, and overcoming inner battles for close to 2 and a Half Years, It’s time we embrace imperfections, and find solace in the beauty of artistic vulnerability.” Tweeted J Smash.

Smash has not provided many details on when the project will be released and whether his fans should look forward to big features. However, it’s only a matter of time before we find out what the rapper from The Great North has up his sleeves.

In the build-up to his album release, the rapper has been dropping singles every Wednesday a process he dubbed Smashers Wednesday. “Introducing Smashers Wednesday! Every Wednesday I’m dropping Never-Heard Songs, Before I Drop the Album. Some Will have Open Verses for anyone out there who wants to Hop on the Track. Join me every Wednesday. #SmashersWednesday #NewMusicEveryWeek #TPAlbum.” He tweeted.
