Priddy Ugly Reveals Reasons Behind Unsuccessful Collaborations With Emtee & K.O

The rapper revealed the tracklist of his project, prompting some of his fans to question the absence of certain collaborations they were anticipating on the album. Priddy Ugly has hinted at working with K.O and Emtee on the album, but to some fans’ surprise, the rappers could not feature.

Taking to Twitter (X), Priddy Ugly shed light on the reasons behind two highly anticipated collaborations with fellow artists Emtee and K.O falling through. The Come To My Kasi hitmaker expressed his initial excitement about working with Emtee. However, the collaboration faced significant roadblocks, primarily stemming from time and space and other factors.

Priddy Ugly said that Emtee was supposed to be on the track titled Mosha which he will now be featuring Blxckie and K.Keed. “The track is titled MOSHA, I know he f*ck*d with the record though – no love loss to Big Hustle though, time & space are big factors & sometimes things just don’t connect…” Priddy Ugly said.

Priddy Ugly’s prospective collaboration with another notable South African rapper, K.O, encountered its own set of challenges. In this case, the issue was more of a creative difference than time. Priddy Ugly revealed that he reached out to K.O but the music could not align for them to make a feature.

“I did, love to the big hommie though. He’s one of the GOATs foreal. Sometimes the music doesn’t align with the artist’s plans even if they like the record & that’s fine. He had the decency to talk to me directly about it. We good.” Priddy Ugly added.

Priddy Ugly made it clear that he still has great respect for both Emtee and K.O and that these failed collaborations have not affected his relationships with them. The rapper said that he reached out to most of the people his fans wanted him to work with.

He emphasized that he went to great lengths, even pleading with some artists for a collaboration. However, ultimately, the album stands as it is because that’s how it was destined to be.

“A lot of mentions, most if not all the people y’all wanted me to work with, I’ve reached out to… In fact on this particular album, I over extended myself, even did some begging… I’m not ashamed to say. This album is exactly how it was intended & meant to be. DUST loading…” Priddy Ugly said.
