Cassper Breaks Down What His Partnership With UMG Means For His Indie Status

Cassper Breaks Down What His Partnership With UMG Means For His Indie Status! If you’ve been following Cassper’s career, you know how he has fought over the years to make sure he remains an independent artist.

Cassper signed the partnership deal with Universal Music Group at the end of 2018. He explained it then saying it was a win for independent musicians and that there was a lot he was going to teach through the partnership. “This is a new business module and if you know me as a businessman you know It’s the BAG!!! Secure the BAG,” he said at the time.

A year and half later Cassper broke it down a little for his fans on twitter how the deal works explaining he was a music workshop on the topic was in the works before lockdown happened.

“I’m still indi Bro. In a JV partnership with UMD. Still own and direct 100 %. Would break it down but half of the game would be mad. I am still signed understand myself and I still fund myself. Every cent Universal uses gets paid back by me, not by taking ownership of anything,” Cassper detailed.

Cassper went on to say he won’t dive into deeper details because of twitter critics who make fun of successful people. “I was actually planning a music workshop before lockdown where I can filter the idiots and engage with people who wanna learn from me,” Cassper concluded.
