Indigo Stella Reveals How Her Collaborations With Nadia And Nasty C Happened. Indigo Stella is one young artist who is working her way to becoming one of SA hottest Hip Hop acts. The young rapper is fast climbing the ladder and those who are reigning in the industry are taking note. Indigo Stellar is not only bagging features with award-winning SA Hip Hop artists but also has her music featuring on Netflix’s popular series, Blood and Water. This year alone Indigo Stella has bagged two features from SA Hip Hop heavyweights, Nadia Nakai and Nasty C.

Earlier in the year, Indigo Stella had confirmed to her fans that she would be working with Nadia on new music. The female rappers went on to collaborate on a track called, Pay It Up and in early September, Indigo dropped the visuals for the track. Indigo Stella collaborated with Nasty C on the track Company and this week she dropped the visuals for the song. Indigo is the latest guest on podcast MyDMs Podcast and spoke about how she landed those hot collaborations. The host, Supersonic asked Indigo who puts together the collaborations and she boldly responded, “me”.

Indigo went on to reveal that she put things together with Nadia. The young artist went on to share that this is one of the reasons she likes being independent. “There’s no label that’s why I like being independent because I can… Normally people be like no the label did… Which label? It’s me, yeah it’s me. I have. They vibe with the music and it’s also them, let me not just put… It’s them vibing with me and being humble enough to you know… Because obviously, they’re up there, so it’s them being humble enough to come and say to let’s roll, let’s make music, let’s do the things. But it’s the DMs, calls,” explained Indigo Stella.

Indigo Stella previously shared that she knew Nasty C would be the perfect person for the song Company and when she hit him up, the rapper was more than eager to be on the song. “I made this song in 2020 when lockdown hit and we weren’t allowed to leave the house. It’s a lockdown love song. You know when you’re told you can’t have something and want it more after that? When we were told to stay home and not hang out with people during lockdown, I realised that there are certain people I just couldn’t stop wanting to link up with, and me expressing that through the music resulted in the making of the new age classic Love song, Company,” revealed Indigo about the song.
