Reason Reveals Why He ‘Never’ Dropped An Album Longer Than 1 Hour

Reason, a South African rapper and Amapiano star, acknowledged that a long album might be tiresome, which is why he has never released one. This came after the rapper revealed that he is struggling to turn 15 tracks into 10 tracks on the album he is currently working on.

Now I’m suffering the struggle of turning a 15 track album into 10 tracks. Piano songs are already 6 – 7 minutes long. Cause I really don’t want a long album” Tweeted Reason. Reason went on and admitted that long albums are exhausting revealing the reason why he never dropped an album longer than 1 hour.

Responding to the tweep, the famed rapper was in agreement that long albums are exhausting. “Trust me I know. That’s why I’ve never dropped an album that was longer than 1 hour.” Reason tweeted.

Reason has signed a record deal with Warner Music after being an independent artist for the past five years. The rapper revealed that he had been looking for a label that could do more for him than he can do for himself.

“I’ve been looking for the best deal for me and my legacy for the past five years,” he said. “After all that I’ve done independently, I needed to work with a company that could do more for me than I could for myself.” He said.

In another tweet, Reason also announced the release date for his highly anticipated album. “Alakine World Album – 30•06•22,” tweeted Reason.
