Drake & OVO Shoot “Gyalchester” Video In Toronto! Being that Drake’s latest project More Life has been marketed as a playlist instead of a traditional album, according to the Canadian crooner himself, the rollout of music videos has been different from what you would traditionally expect from a studio release.
Almost five months after the album’s spring release date, there still hasn’t been a music video released for any of its 22 tracks. This may change soon, with recent clues pointing to a visual for “Gyalchester” having been filmed in Toronto by Drake and his collective of October’s Very Own associates.
Drake will be debuting his newest OVO Flagship Store this Saturday, August 5 in Toronto, located at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. To help advocate the upcoming opening, Drake and his OVO team shot an exclusive performance of “Gyalchester” at Yorkdale. In the visual, Drake and his associates stroll through the mall, clad in sweaters bearing the famous OVO sigil. The multi-platinum rapper plants his feet on top of a moving Cadillac Escalade and does what he does best. The video cuts off after one minute, ending with a still image of the word “Yorksdale.”
