Doja Cat Replies To The Criticism Of Her Skin Colour & Body Features. American rapper Doja Cat who rose into prominence just a few years back has been entangled on a number of controversial matters.

Last time the 25 year-old received major backlash for her alleged racial slurs towards black people. As a mixed race breed she was considered as someone who identifies more as white than she does black. The outrage from followers ended up with her getting attacked for her looks.

In response to the body shaming the Say So rapper addressed taking offence.

“Nobody should hate themselves for their skin tone, nobody should hate anybody else because of their skin tone. Now, why the f**k is it your logic to come onto my platform and say, ‘Wow, forehead’s too big. Why would anybody be attracted to you? I hate you’ …

“You’re taking my features and you’re sh*tting on them. Which are what features? Exactly. I have black hair, I have black skin. I have black features and you’re sh&%tting on them.”

Answering the claims that she is “a racist”, Doja told fans last month that she was a proud black woman, with half her ancestry in SA.

“I’m a black woman. Half of my family is black from SA and I’m very proud of where I come from.”
