J Smash is known for his groundbreaking production approach and skill in creating high-quality music. He recently expressed gratitude on Twitter (X), acknowledging the privilege of working on Saudi’s album. The Limpopo-born producer, gave credit to the collaborative effort of the team involved, highlighting their collective contribution to delivering an impressive project for the fellow rapper.

“HEARD IT FROM THE… RICK SMASH IN THE CUT… THANK YOU FOR TRUSTING ME, MY IDEAS AND LETTING ME PRODUCE A COUPLE OF JOINTS ON THE ALBUM WITH MY BROTHERS, RAVEN, RILLO & WXVAMBIENT… CANT WAIT FOR YALL TO LISTEN TO THE BEAUTIFUL ART WE CREATED…” Wrote J Smash.

In the build-up to the album release, Saudi surprised most of his fans after he revealed the album tracklist with Emtee being the only feature. However, with the amount of work that has been done to make the album a success, the rapper said that he has worked with top-tier producers and J Smash one of them.

“Yessir. I needed EMTEE on my NEW ALBUM. That’s my real brother. I worked with so many great producers on this album. I’m so grateful  Me & My Father @Ruff_atm right back in sync, God knows how much I need him to be who and what I am. Sjava was a part of the whole process too!” Saudi said explaining why Emtee is the only feature on his album.

Scheduled for release on December 1, 2023, the “Msotra Dont Die” album has the South African hip-hop culture eagerly anticipating a remarkable project from Saudi, who has kept fans eagerly awaiting new material for an extended period.
