MashBeatz Clarifies Why He And A-Reece Will Never Patch Things Up. SA hip hop has endured the beef between Cassper and AKA and there are no signs that the two famed rappers will work things out. In a recent interview with Slikour, the prominent producer was asked why he hasn’t been making music with A-Reece. “Then you know the next question they want to know is so, why haven’t you been making with A-Reece,” asked Slikour.

In response, Mashbeatz said that he and A-Reece are brothers but they had a fallout about things they did not get the chance to fix. “Well, me and Reece we’re brothers and we had fallout about things that we never had like a chance to communicate about,” he said.

Asked whether he is open to doing work with Reece when the opportunity comes, Mashbeatz said; “For me it’s like, like I said, its us moving on to the next thing, I don’t know what he’s thinking but I don’t think he’s at that state of wanting to like make things happen and same as me I’m not trying to make amends, I’m not trying to make friends, I’m just like, I’m chasing amps,” he added.

The “conflict” originally came to light when it was discovered that MashBeatz had unfollowed A-Reece on both Twitter and Instagram, which many followers believed indicated there was animosity. Ever since their split, the two have done exceptionally well in their respective work.

Mashbeatz enjoyed a good spell in the game last year with one of the biggest songs in SA Hip Hop Never Ride and making it to the New York Times Square Billboard. A-Reece also maintained his relevance in the game as he remained consistency by dropping music throughout the year.
