Touchline Truth Claps Back At Critics For Calling His Bars “Weak.” In the cutthroat world of hip-hop, artists often find themselves under the unforgiving scrutiny of critics and fans alike. Tembisa’s own Touchline Truth is no stranger to this reality, and he’s not one to stay silent when his art is ridiculed.

Known for his sophisticated lyricism and socially conscious rhymes, Touchline Truth has built a reputation as one of South Africa’s most promising talents. However, the road to success is paved with both praise and criticism, and the artist found himself addressing the latter in a recent Twitter (X) post.

The rapper faced allegations of delivering subpar bars, with claims suggesting that Touchline is getting away with presenting lacklustre lyrical content. “TouchlinePunchline and his Grade2 weak bars are like this and nobody’s ready to call him out but I will… “I won an Albany competition i’m a breadwinner njayam,” read the post.

In response, Touchline Truth dismissed the accusations, emphasizing that he does not compose his lyrics in such a manner. “Uyahlanya san. Uwena ongabhala lowo mbedho,” which translates to; “You are crazy, san. You are the one who can write that nonsense,” the rapper said, setting the tone for a no-nonsense response.

Touchline Truth is currently coming out from a successful joint album release with Ginger Trill titled Boyzen Da Hood. The project has received nothing but positive responses, with the two rappers extending their gratitude for the massive support from the fans and the industry at large.

“I think I speak for both me and Trill when I say we did not expect this much love. The numbers are going insane and the feedback is beautiful. From the bottom of our hearts, siyabonga. #BoyZenDaHood,” said Touchline Truth.
