Cassper To Drop A ‘First For SA Hip Hop’ From His R100 Million Deal. The R100 Million deal was on everybody’s lips as soon as it was announced. Cassper and Drip Footwear CEO Lekau Sehoana announced the news on the 8th of June 2021 at a popular Sandton Hotel surrounded by media and their closest friends and families.

Since the announcement of the news, social media had questions about the valuation of Drip Footwear and whether Cassper had already received R100 Million or not. Both Cassper and Lekau confirmed on separate occasions that the deal is in fact worth R100 Million and they will be releasing a series of products under their new found collaborative efforts, Root Of Fame.

The Good For That rapper recently took to his Instagram to exclusively share what the first product from the R100 Million deal with be. He shared that the first product will be SA Hip Hop’s first original shoe which will be a collaboration between his label Family Tree and Drip Footwear.

Cassper had been on the low about the deal for some time mentioning that it had been in the works for months. Fans of the rapper’s have gotten the impression that the deal won’t be solely about releasing sneakers but there are a number of other products that will be released from the partnership. Fans will just have to be patient about the drop.

Cassper is also set to release his brand new Amapiano album on the 30th of June with some of Amapiano’s biggest names.

AKA previously teamed up with Reebok to release an original sneaker which they called “SneAKA”. Other rappers have endorsed sneaker brands in the past including K.O for Asics Tiger, Gigi Lamayne, Anatii and Nasty C for Puma.
