How HHP reacted to Emtee’s “HHP uzenz’ iBosso lo” verse

Last year Emtee releasing his break out single Roll Up which went on to be voted the Song Of The Year at the SA Hip Hop Awards. The 23 year old says he recorded Roll Up under pressure because he had to release a project the next day.

Emtee aver

The rapper is known to be a controversial rapper on social media because he is one celebrity who replies to the slander he gets on social media. Emtee also had a controversial line on Roll Up where he says “uHHP uzenz’ iBosso lo, hamba uzincwaba nayi fosholo” loosely translated “HHP acts like a boss (in reference to his song Bosso Ke Mang), here is a shovel go bury yourself.”

Emtee was asked why he said that and he said, “I was really sceptic about a lot of things on the song like the HHP uzenz’ iBosso lo line, because I was referring to HHPs big hit which was Bosso Ke Mang. “Something that  was amazing about that line is that I went to HHP the following day after we had finished the song and played it for him. He liked it because it was spontaneous. He laughed actually and loved it, he actually did say that this is going to be a problem, a hit and he did not find it offensive.”
