Emtee To Air His Reality Show This Year! It has been over a year now since Emtee announced that he wants to air a reality TV show called Rap 4 Me which was supposed to air in 2017 but did not.
It seems the rapper now wants to air the show which is meant to discover new talent in South Africa. The show did not air last year because they faced problems because it wasn’t planned properly. The show is supposed to air on Gau TV sometime this year and according to Emtees manager they have already begun shooting the show.
““I have this idea for a TV show that will discover young rap talent and also showcase them to the country. I am passionate about young talent and have tried to expose them to the industry through my new record label. This is just the next step in that,” Emtee said at the time,” said Emtee last year.
The auditioning of artists and airing of the show did not go according to plan. The rappers manager recently spoke on the matter clarifying on the progress theyv’e made and their plans.
“We are still shooting the show and have been this whole week. I think we announced it a little too soon last year with no proper planning or conceptualisation.
We had auditions but it wasn’t marketed properly so we didn’t have enough content. We had to go back to the drawing board and work on it again. Also, Emtee’s schedule was very busy with shows and other projects,” said Lebo Maswanganyi who is Emtee’s manager.
